Yes, our online training course is approved by the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Private Protective Services Division. Our course meets the state's training requirements for individuals seeking an unarmed security guard license in Tennessee.

Yes, there is a final exam at the end of the course. The exam is designed to evaluate your understanding of the materials covered in the course. You must pass the exam with a score of 70% or higher to receive your completion certificate.

Yes, you can retake the exam if you fail. You will have three attempts to pass the exam. If you are unable to pass the exam after three attempts, you will be required to retake the entire course.

For most training courses, you will receive a completion certificate via the Learning Management System after passing the final exam. You can print or save your certificate as a PDF. Please note, that this certificate is not accepted as proof of training by any state agency.

Upon course completion with a passing grade, you will receive your certification within 1 business day. The certification will be sent directly to the email you have listed in your account settings. The certificate will be accepted by the state agency, listed in the training you completed, as proof of completion of the required training.

The courses supply you with the knowledge and skill sets needed to be an effective security officer.  Metropolitan Security makes no warrants, claims, or guarantees regarding licensure or jobs.
